Beta registration asks for name and email to email download links and licenses. The optional, unchecked updates box separately permits future product and pre-release emails. Declining it does not prevent demo delivery. Reply unsubscribe to stop update emails; contact us to request deletion or correction. Registration and delivery records are private in the Starr Google account. We do not sell these details.

The web player decodes sound samples on your device. Imported files and browser-saved presets remain local. Feedback opens your email app so you can review and send the message. Do not include personal, confidential or identifying information in diagnostic descriptions.

A separately labeled compatibility-testing edition sends one successful environment/diagnostic report, deferred until an internet-connected startup if needed. Its installer tells you before installation. Reports do not contain names, emails, device identifiers, audio, MIDI, file paths or project contents. Reports are stored separately from the mailing list without a link back to the tester. Network providers necessarily process connection metadata such as IP addresses; the Starr report payload and application log do not record them.

Google handles Forms, private Sheets and email delivery; the website hosting provider serves the player. Their own service/privacy terms apply. Keep signup records only while needed for beta delivery and opted-in updates; delete unsubscribed records after outstanding delivery/support requests are resolved. Review or delete anonymous diagnostic logs within 12 months.
